Lviv Fashion Week 2025: Fashion as a Catalyst for Change

From May 22 to 25, Lviv will once again become the heart of Ukraine’s fashion scene as Lviv Fashion Week returns. This season, the event will bring together some of the most exciting Ukrainian brands, industry professionals, artists, and all those who see fashion not only as aesthetics, but as a voice of the times.

Over four days, Lviv Fashion Week will feature runway shows, lectures, art projects, and charitable initiatives—shaping a multi-dimensional platform where creativity matters, and where style and solidarity go hand in hand.

RUNWAY SHOWS
This season’s shows will take place at Barvy Event Hall, with collections presented by Ukrainian brands JULIYA KROS, VOZIANOV, Khrystyna RACHYTSKA, NOVANA STUDIO, VBRANA by Svitlana Mykytyuk, Ksenia SERBIN, and the Italian brand BALOSSA. After a long break, ROKSOLANA BOGUTSKA returns to the Lviv Fashion Week runway.

CHARITY
Fashion has the power to inspire, to shift perspectives—and to support. The event will include a fundraising campaign for the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade, which is currently the unit of Ihor Fedoriv, the long-time photographer of Lviv Fashion Week. His photographs were regularly featured on the official Lviv Fashion Week platforms.  Additionally, a "donation for invitation" initiative continues: guests can attend shows of their chosen brands or lectures by making a charitable contribution. It’s a way to participate in the event while helping those defending Ukraine.

KNOWLEDGE
The Lviv Fashion Week educational program, developed in partnership with the West Ukrainian Fashion Industry Cluster and Fashion Park Ukraine, will host a series of talks and panel discussions with leading voices from the Ukrainian and international fashion industries.
Speakers include fashion expert and founder of Fashion Africa 254 Waridi Pabst-Schrobsdorff, former L’Officiel Ukraine editor Ana Varava, and top visual communication professionals Olena Diakiv and Yulia Borshchevska.
Also joining the program is Thomas Erhardt, founder of Berlin-based communication agency Project Hype, which specializes in fashion and lifestyle PR and develops strategic campaigns that enhance brand visibility on the German market.
Special attention will be given to fashion as a cultural phenomenon in Ukraine, with contributions from designer Oksana Karavanska, OLIZ brand founder Khrystyna Oliiarnyk, cultural expert and TV host Maryana Hirniak, and Zenovia Tkanko, head of the Costume Design Department at Lviv National Academy of Arts. The program is designed as a platform for dialogue between fashion, education, and national identity—showcasing fashion as a form of soft power on the global stage.

ART
In collaboration with the Lviv National Academy of Arts (LNAA), the art project "Presence" will be unveiled—a curated exhibition of contemporary spatial art. It will feature works by faculty, alumni, and students of LNAA exploring the human condition through material, volume, and form.

Presence is a public art intervention where sculptural forms act as metaphors for inner experiences, memory, and personal history. The exhibition evokes a sense of constant presence, expressed simultaneously through bodily, emotional, and historical dimensions. The visual language of the project blends classical sculpture with contemporary spatial plastics, creating a dialogue where strength meets vulnerability, public intersects with private, and reality collides with abstraction.
The project highlights the continuity of the Lviv art school—from the early creative steps of emerging artists to the experience of mentors and established voices.

Featured artists include: NATSPROM (Mykola Matsenko and Oleh Tistol), Liudmyla Davydenko, Petro Hrytsiuk, Artur Kushnaryov, Serhii Drobyshevskyi, and Natalka Otkovych. The exhibition is curated by Ksenia Tsikhurska (art dealer and member of the “Friends of LNAA” charity fund).

Lviv Fashion Week 2025 is more than an event.
It’s a space for bold ideas, new collaborations, and responsible choices.
A place where fashion resonates with reality, where every show is a conversation with society, and every action is a step toward change.

The event is supported by official partners: Mercedes-Benz Western Ukrainian Automobile House and LEV Development.
