For the purpose of promoting the development of a new generation of designers, which would be young, erudite, proactive with regard to fashion innovations, and, most importantly, competitive in the world market, in mid-July, Lviv Fashion Week, under the auspices of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, announced the launch of the Future Fashion Generation project, that is, a contest in which the most interesting and promising collections of beginner designers were chosen.
Receipt of applications ended on August, 30, and the winners have been determined. These are the young brands ORNAMENT, SOYKA, HAVRYLIV, FRBTK, Starchak, Zalesova, Iryna Soloviy, who will present their collections at Lviv Fashion Week SS 2020 on October 10-13. For the participating brands Lviv Fashion Week organizes presentation of their collections on the main catwalk free of charge. The organizers also supervise and advice young designers on organizational and marketing nuances.
