The final of the ХХІІ International contest for clothes' designers The Golden Thread (Z?otа Nitkа) was held on October 2 in the city of Lodz (Poland). The contest has its traditions and a well-deserved recognition, focusing on the most creative young Polish designers contesting for a prize which includes a substantial money reward and strong promotion of a designer. 11 collections were presented during the finale. Jury, which also included Lviv Fashion Week organizers, chose the winner - Joanna Organisciak – a student at Krakow School of Art and Fashion Design with her collection called IDENTITY. Anna Tronowska and Martyna Sobczak received rewards for the second and the third place respectively.
The Golden Thread contest has been a partner of Lviv Fashion Week since 2010. Every year the winner of SABOTAGE Contest, which is held during Lviv Fashion Week, presents the collection at the The Golden Thread finale.
This season the collaboration of the contest with Lviv Fashion Week was expanded. The prize was the opportunity to present Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the major location of Lviv Fashion Week – Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport. This opportunity was given to one of the contest finalists - Magdalena Orze?. Her fashion show is held on Saturday, October 31 at 5.00 p.m.
