As part of a collaboration with the Lviv National Academy of Arts, this season at Lviv Fashion Week will feature an exhibition of contemporary three-dimensional art titled “On Essence.”
The exhibition brings together works by faculty, graduates, and students of the Lviv National Academy of Arts who explore the human being through material, volume, and form.
“On Essence” is an artistic intervention in a public space, where sculptural form serves as a metaphor for inner experiences, human memory, and emotion. The works evoke a sense of constant presence, manifesting on physical, emotional, and historical levels. The project’s visual language emerges through a fusion of classical sculpture and contemporary spatial plasticity. It is within this interaction that a dialogue unfolds—where strength meets vulnerability, public intersects with private, and the real engages with the abstract. The project reveals the continuity of the Lviv art school - from the first creative explorations of young artists to the experience of their mentors and the independent paths of alumni.

Curator: Ksenia Tsikhurska (art dealer, member of the “Friends of LNAA” charitable foundation).
The exhibition will be on display on May 24-25 at Barvy Event Hall.
